On Talisman-Online, you can use the \u2018Design Your Own\u2019 feature to create teeshirts, sweaters, hoodies, joggers, shorts, as well as non-clothing lines such as mugs, bags, posters, postcards, aprons etc.<\/p>
Select \u2018Design Your Own\u2019 then select \u2018Customise\u2019 then select a Product (click on \u2018Product\u2019). You can either use one of the hundreds of preloaded designs, plain text, or you can upload your own image or text (all by clicking on \u2018Design\u2019) - it\u2019s best to use an image of 300DPI or better to minimise the chances of blurring.<\/p>
One key thing which will enhance whichever product you choose to design for yourself is to make the background of any images you use transparent (the preloaded images on the site are already transparent.)<\/p>
Usually as a default, your image will have a background colour of some sort. If you upload your image with a background that background will also be printed on the item.<\/p>
Even if you use an image with a white background and print it on a white teeshirt, the printing process will print the background. It\u2019s likely there will still be a slight colour difference between the background and the item, so you\u2019ll get a slightly off-colour rectangle around your image.<\/p>
However, you can make your image transparent so there is literally no background to print.<\/p>
You can use free applications such as Paint 3D and set the transparent canvas button to \u2018on\u2019, or you can insert your image into Microsoft Publisher then select \u2018Page Design\u2019 then \u2018Recolour\u2019, right\u2014click within the image and select the option for a transparent background. You can also make more complex designs on applications such as GIMP or Inkscape.<\/p>
